Live Demonstration of Pile Installation Followed by Conventional Load Test Determination (Dwyer) and a Dynamic Load Test (GRL Engineers) at Whiskey Thief Distillery

Come and join with SEAoK members and our friends from The Dwyer Company and GRL Engineers, Inc at the Whiskey Theif Distillery for a presentation on piles, followed by a live demonstration of pile installation! Dwyer will present on:

• Different types of new and retrofit foundation systems available: Helical, Micropile, Resistance Pull Piles, and Push Piles
• A brief discussion on choosing the right pile for your project
• A testing demonstration for ASTM "Quick Test Method A Tension Test".
• Added event: "Features and Benefits of Dynamic Load Testing (DLT)" by representatives from both Dwyer and GRL Engineers
• GRL will test a Dwyer installed pile using the DLT method.
• GRL developed the dynamic testing method in Cleveland, OH and applies the method to any deep foundation type, including micropiles and helical piles. A live dynamic load test will be performed at the event with discussions on the test method and its advantages

Registration includes a distillery tour and a dinner from the Whiskey Thief food truck. Alcoholic beverages will be available at the distillery for individual purchase.
